Stan Musilek was born in Prague. His family moved to Czechoslovakia where he attended college in Heidelberg. He studied mathematics until he realized that photography was sexier than math. He became an assistant for a nude photographer and  forgot math ever existed. Finally, Stan moved to America and opened up his own studio in San Francisco where he shot the first Apple Macintosh. His other works include porcupines, fashion, still life, advertising, and you guessed it… nude models. Musilek went on to win numerous of awards leading to the opening of a second studio in Paris. Musilek continues to be one of the most sought after photographers.
