When Photoshop CS5 was announced one of the biggest features was content aware fill, a feature where you could just select any area of the photo and have it digitally removed. The software analyzes the file to see how the camera shook when the shot was taken. Then it basically "undoes" the hand motion in post. The feature is not yet available and was just a demo at Adobe MAX 2011.
