David Lindberg created Canon T2i slow motion short film titled The Beauty of Mud and he filmed it all with his, you guessed it, Canon T2i and 50mm F/1.8 lens. He converted his 720p 60fps footage shot at a shutter speed of 1/4000th to 4,000 fps using Twixtor in Adobe After Effects (you can also use Premiere or Final Cut). It looks pretty great and especially for being less than 1/10th the price of a Phantom slow motion camera it’s pretty spectacular. If you’d like to give it a go, you can follow David’s tutorial here.
