Taking a photograph is not hard; any toddler with a point and shoot can take a photo. Taking a good photo, on the other hand, takes years of practice and advancing your craft. Although most of us have probably developed our passion for photography from that very first click; only a few have the guts to put down the point and shoot, and take our skills to the next level.
Using a DSLR for the very first time can be a little intimidating with all the new intricate settings, modes, and moving parts. So it would behoove one, as with everything in life, to start at the beginning and take things one step at a time. This two minute introduction to digital photography will be everything you need to take that initial stride. Be inspired, shoot, and share.
This is my first DSLR. I. love. it. With the help from some online tutorials I have had lots of success in a short amount of time taking pictures that will be treasured. They are crisp and clear and easy to take. Since I am able to take lots of pictures quickly I don’t have to worry about one of my kids blinking or not smiling right because I can usually have at least one good picture!:- http://amzn.to/1qupYX1
You’re the first who took the time to start by looking into a dictionary. Well done.I’m just going to add “photography”. “Photos”, greek for light, and “graphein” to write/paint/draw, therefore, photography meaning drawing with light. I love that picture.
